Short description:
A new state-of-the-art central warehouse of the Transgourmet Deutschland GmbH & Co. shall replace their aging old warehouse in Hamburg.
The warehouse has a floor area of 20,000 m² with 5,800 m² that are cooled (0 – 14°C) and 6,200 m² that are deep-frozen (-24 °C).
Outside the building there is enough parking space for up to 280 employees.
The bright office space on the 1st and 2nd floor is complemented by wood covered terraces overlooking the Elbe.
In total, the upper floor area of 6,000 m² contains also a company restaurant, a demo kitchen, conference rooms and social rooms for industrial employees.
The cold is generated by a state-of-the-art CO2 refrigeration device. Part of needed electricity is generated by a photovoltaic module 4,500 m² mounted on a partial surface of the roof. The remaining roof surface will be greened.
